Project settings
Pages covered, console capture, reviewer options and archiving.
Open a project and choose Settings. Any member can change these, except archiving.
- Project sets the name, site URL and team.
- Card image is the picture on the project's card on Home. It starts as the site's own share image, if it has one. Plotter replaces that with a snapshot of the site's home page, at most once a day, when someone on your team opens it in the iPhone or iPad app, or starts reviewing it from the Plotter button in their browser. Password and card fields are covered first. Upload your own image to use instead; Use a site snapshot switches back.
- URL patterns decide which pages reviewers can mark. Other pages open normally, without the pen.
- Staging access lets reviewers into a protected site. See Staging passwords and preview URLs.
- Reviewer policy chooses whether reviewers on Anyone links give a name, an email first, or whether only personal links work.
- Feedback visibility sets whether reviewers see only their own marks or everyone's. Each link can override it.
- What reviewers can see (paid plans) shows reviewers everyone's marks moved to the next round, and lets them show earlier rounds' resolved marks on the page. Both are on by default. See What reviewers see.
- Console capture attaches what the page logged in the 30 seconds before each mark. Emails, card numbers, tokens and secrets in URLs are removed on the reviewer's device first.
- Install on your site has the script that lets browsers review the site.
- Archive project hides the project and turns off its links. Owners and admins restore it from Organization → Archived.
