Email notifications

Choose what Plotter emails you about, get a daily digest, and set quiet hours. Fine-tune it for a team or a single project.

Team members1 min

Open your account (your photo or initials at the bottom of the rail) and choose Notifications. Changes save as you make them. Your settings follow you to every team you belong to.

Plotter never emails you about something you did yourself. Updates that arrive close together come as one email.

What you get emails about

Under Notify me when, tick what you want:

  • A mark is assigned to me
  • Someone replies on a mark I'm part of
  • A reviewer reopens a mark I resolved or own
  • A mark I own needs repair after a deploy
  • Any reviewer leaves a new mark. Off at first: busy reviews can send dozens a day.

Daily digest

A daily digest of everything new sends one email at the hour you pick. It only comes on days with something new. It's on at first, at 9:00.

Quiet hours

Turn on Quiet hours and set From and to. Tick All weekend to hold emails on Saturdays and Sundays too. Emails wait until quiet hours end; nothing is lost. At first, quiet hours run from 19:00 to 8:00 and all weekend.

Times follow your browser's time zone. If you've moved, choose Use [your time zone] under the quiet hours.

A team or a project

Under Teams, each team you belong to has its own setting:

SettingWhat you get
Use my defaultsWhat you ticked above.
EverythingEvery kind of email, including every new mark.
Only marks assigned to meOnly emails about marks assigned to you.
MutedNothing from this team.

For a single project, open the project's Settings and change Your notifications. It's just for you, and it comes before the team's setting.
